Connor+Gaskins Studio Welcomes Peter J. McKiernan as Project Executive

Connor+Gaskins Studio announces the addition of Peter J. McKiernan as Project Executive. McKiernan brings more than 26 years of experience in construction and land development, with a practical, hands-on leadership style focused on execution and results.

Originally from Michigan and most recently based in Texas, McKiernan’s career spans 18 states, where he has successfully led developments across diverse regulatory environments and evolving market conditions. Over the course of his career, he has led projects from land acquisition and planning through construction and completion.

His portfolio includes luxury custom estates, high-end resort developments, multifamily communities, and complex commercial builds — with cumulative project values exceeding $500 million. Throughout his career, McKiernan has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship, accountability and strategic execution.

At Connor+Gaskins, he will focus on team leadership and strengthening relationships with clients, architects, consultants and trade partners. As a former development firm owner, he

brings an owner’s perspective that emphasizes transparency, budget discipline and predictable outcomes.

Now based in Naples, McKiernan is deeply rooted in family and community life. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and maintaining an active fitness lifestyle. He is also a proud supporter of competitive youth athletics, cheering on his son, Maximus, in football. Peter resides in Naples with his wife, Patricia, and their son.
